As part of the process for registering on the Online Map, you are asked to provide data including your name, email, postcode. You are optionally asked to provide your phone number which will be used by TCC, its member organisations, and/or their volunteers phoning to offer you support in organising your event. This data is stored centrally by TCC for the duration of the campaign and is only shared with member organisations via which the supporter has signed up.
By submitting your data you are agreeing to be contacted by email or telephone by a Speak Up representative, either from The Climate Coalition or the organisation whose website you signed up though, to support local coordination.
If, during the registration process, if you opt to receive updates from TCC or from the organisation whose website you signed up through, they may send you e-mails about other organisational activities which may not be related to the Speak Up Week. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time through links included in each mail. TCC or its member organisations will not share, sell or trade addresses with any other companies or member organisations under any circumstances.
Please remember that any information you upload to the Online Map enters the public domain. TCC or its member organisations cannot be held responsible for the misuse of any personal information that you disclose in your posts.
Unless otherwise indicated, all content such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads and data compilations, is the property of TCC or its member organisations, and is protected by copyright law. Content may be changed at any time.
The Online Map may offer links to external websites with the aim of improving your experience but TCC or its member organisations do not formally approve or endorse these websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
TCC or its member organisations do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information or content, nor its fitness for any particular purpose. In some instances, the information provided may represent opinion and judgement. Under no circumstances will TCC or its member organisations be liable for any loss or damage caused by reliance on the content of the Online Map.
By using the Online Map, you assume all risks associated with its use, including any risk to your computer, software or data being damaged by any virus, software, or any other file which might be transmitted or activated via this website.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must not use any part of the Online Map to post or upload content which is illegal, immoral, offensive to TCC, its member organisations or others, or in breach of others' rights. This includes, but is not limited to, any content which is discriminatory or harassing on the grounds of race, gender, religion, age or any other personal attribute, foul language, inciting hatred or violence, sexually explicit, abusive, defamatory, in breach of copyright or other rights.
You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of your content.
TCC or its member organisations have an unrestricted, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate and distribute your content and/or to incorporate it in other works.
TCC or its member organisations reserve the right to monitor any discussions to ensure that online standards are being maintained.
